I chose 7 tracks for Side A, and another seven for Side B. Side A is about getting to a realization point, and Side B is about embracing my weird!
While my original "My Blog as a Mix Tape" post wasn't an ode to GotG, I kept meaning to revisit it. But it never felt right. Now it's 2017, and a lot of stuff happened last year (admittedly, most of it was not good). And whether or not this earth is going to hell in a hand basket, I'm determined to make the best of it (hell, so far so good). And with Guardians of the Galaxy volume 2 out next week it seemed like as good a time as any and a salute to one of the best nerdy movies to date with a bangin' soundtrack, by bringing back the post I'm most proud of in its own sequel!

I thought I'd share a workout theme from one of my favorite shows. Also, I figured I'd start sharing some workouts inspired by movies, shows, and--if I can find them--comic/books! Trust me, this is going to be a thing ;)
I thought I'd start out with the show I currently am running behind on due to, well, running. Due to my increase in physical activity, I'm a few episodes behind on Supernatural on Hulu+. So I think that maybe I can incorporate some strength training using just my body weight and still, catch up on one of my shows.
In case you haven't seen it, Supernatural is a show about the two Winchester brothers, Dean and Sam who come from a line of slayers demon-hunters who travel all over Canada the US, hunting demons, helping ghost and poltergeists move on, salting and burning, and well, dealing with all the heeby jeebies! The writing is quite fun, and you can tell the cast really has a blast with the show. My fiance and I are pretty darn hooked!

Like... a long time!
The hard part was summing up this blog--and by extension: me! I'm friendly, yet feisty, I can be a bit feral (like G.I.R, or, Radical Edward), but inside, I'm also a softy. I want things to go smoothly and as planned...but I'm also scattered. It's equal parts me, my dreams, and what I want to accomplish. And this year's big one is being healthy!
The songs I picked are not only my workout list because I like them, but they literally, make my pace quicken, push me to run faster and more consistently (though currently I am still walking, but you get what I'm saying). These are my anthems--my Rocky Balboa motivation! Not just in working out, or blogging: but in life! I can't stay sad with these songs!
